Speciial Meeting of the Town of Hamptonburgh Board of Fire Commissioners

The Hamptonburgh Fire District will receive sealed bids for the following

firefighting apparatus until 7:00 P.M. prevailing time on March 9, 2010 at which

time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Specifications are available by appointment at the Campbell Hall Fire House by

contacting District Secretary Jay Samuelson at (845) 656-8967. Questions on

the specifications can be directed to Chief James Ballard at (845) 234-7972.

Sealed and properly marked bids can be mailed to the following address

Sealed bids will also be received at the Campbell Hall Fire House, Campbell Hall,

New York between 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. prevailing time March 9, 2010. Bid

opening will be 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter, at the Campbell Hall Fire House,

Campbell Hall, New York.

Each bidder shall submit, with its quotation, an acceptable bid security in the

form of a bid bond in an amount of which shall be 10% of the base bid.

Each bidder will be required to execute a non collusive certification in accordance

with the requirements of Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law.

The Hamptonburgh Fire District is not responsible for bids that may be lost in the

mail or not received by the stated Bid Opening. Any bid received after the stated

time of bid opening shall be considered unresponsive and left unopened. The

Board of Fire Commissioners of the Hamptonburgh Fire District reserves the right

to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
